History
There are two main history pages that are used to view an assets history; Trip History Map view and Point history Map view. In general hardwired devices use Trip history Map view and Battery powered devices use point history map view, but if a battery powered device has been set up to be movement based it will use the trip history map view.
Trip history Map view
This view shows each trip that an asset made in a day. In the dialog box you can choose which asset and which date you would like to view.
Trips can be viewed by selecting them from the list, holding ctrl or selecting the plus allows you to view multiple trips at one time.
The trip summary shows the start and end time and location, duration, distance, max speed as well as driver and project if they have been set up for the selected asset.
The exclamation point in the yellow circle indicates that an event happened during the trip, by hovering over the event on the map the details will be shown. Similarly you can hover over a black movement arrow or red stopped square to view the detail for that data point.
If you have TG-PRO you can monitor an asset’s speed against the local speed limits. The line on the map will change colour based on how far over the speed limit the asset is travelling, you can also see a graph representation of the assets speed against the local speed limit.
If the asset has a PTO or any sensors it is likely that the state of the asset is tracked, this is then shown on an assets trip via the colour of the line.
Point History Map view
The point history map view shows all the locations that a battery powered tracker has checked in over a selected date range. The date, time and location of the check in is shown in the list.
Clicking on a check in location will show the estimated position accuracy of the fix.
Asset Daily Coverage Map
The asset daily coverage map is a quick and easy way to view all the trips that a single or multiple assets have made in a day.
Destination History Map view
Destination History map view is used to see all the locations an asset has visited over a specific date range and time.
This can be viewed as trip view, which shows each individual trip end.
Clustered view, which groups trip ends together based on the zoom.
And heatmap view, which also refines based on zoom
